Bhawna Jat is an Indian racewalker who represents India internationally in women’s 20 kilometers race walk. She is the Indian national record holder for women’s 20 kilometers race walk at 1 hour 29 minutes 54 seconds which she sets in February 2020.
It was her physical education teacher Mr. Heera Lal Kumawat took her to a district-level athletics competition where she finished second in the event. Apart from that, she also landed a job with the Indian Railways as a ticket collector in 2016.
Currently, she hit the headlines as he is a part of the Indian contingent being sent for the Tokyo Olympics 2021.
